The Cow Points system, used to reward high performing secretaries, is explained here. For different things that you do as a club secretary, you earn points.
15 pts - for each Summer Monthly Report (May, June, July, August) sent in on time 12 pts - for each monthly report sent in on time (by the 5th of each month) 12 pts - for turning in fall addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of all officers, committee chairs, and advisors by September 30, 2007 2 pts - for turning in summer addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of all officers, committee chairs, and advisors by April 28, 2007 11 pts - Attendance at ICON and/or LSSP 10 pts - Attendance at a district event (SpOT, Kampout, MAC, DSP, DCON) 10 pts - Address changes and corrections sent within 14 days of occurrence 8 pts - if your club participates in the Operation Christmas Child Project 7 pts - phone call to me concerning a question about Circle K 5 pts - Attendance at a district board meeting 4 pts - email to me from your club president regarding your contributions as club secretary - maximum of 2 emails 3 pts - turning in the new club officer contact informaiton within one week of holding club elections 2 pts - emal your club minutes to your entire club and your division's Lt. Governor following club meetings (CC em on the emails) max 15 emails 2 pts - for every 10 hours of service you complete (before Jan. 31, 2008, I must have recieved, form your club president, a signed letter showing the amount of service hours you have performed since April 1, 2007) 1 pt - for every club meeting you attend at your home club (before Jan. 31, 2008, I must have received, from your club president, an email with a list of all the club meetings you have attended since Aprl 1, 2007) 1 pt - for every interclub you attend throughout the year (before Ja. 31, 2008, I must have a received, from your club president, an emal with a list of all the interclubs you have attended since April 1, 2007)
Bonus Points 20 pts - If all monthly reports are sent in on time 10 pts - If all monthly reports are sent in by January 31, 2008 10 pts - If the Club Achievement Award is submitted on time |
